I wanted to create a PSA that would shake people out of the fantasy that they could talk or text while driving to the reality of what can happen when you choose to do this. Furthermore I wanted to say to them that "Safe driving is no accident" which is the name of my PSA, and also that when you choose to text and drive and people die that is no accident either. The inexcusable reality is that when we choose this behavior we choose the possibility of taking a life whether it's our own or someone elses. We should call it suicide by phone, or homicide by car but lets not call them accidents because those are unavoidable unforeseen events.
