You are a top F- 15 eagle pilot.
You have been asked to carry biological weapons in one of your missiles on a
secret mission; even through they violate international law. You know that your
career will come to a grinding halt if you refuse. You:
A) Accept
what your superiors have asked you to do.
B) Ask
to be excused from the mission.
C) Rally
your fellow pilots and have everyone refuse to be part of the deadly mission.
D) And according to Lulu the Correct Opinion
is - The correct answer is (a) but they'd let you get out of it. For
better or worse the Presidents law trumps international law. The point is
decisions like this are made way above your pay grade, or rank as they call it.
You have a problem with that, review your "Uniform Code of Military
Justice".
Question #2
Your son’s best friend has just
gotten his driver’s license. Though he’s a great kid, you don’t yet trust his
skills as a driver. “The gang” is driving to a movie about 40 miles away and
your son is dying to go. You:
A) Tell
him that he can’t go this time, even though you know he’ll be angry.
B) Let
him go with the gang, then get down on your knees and pray until he comes home!
C) Talk
to the other boy’s mother and make sure they know how careful they must be.
D) And according to Lulu the Correct Opinion
is - Uh, my kids aren't driving any ware with "the
gang"(disqualified). They can be as pissed as they want, kids are
mentally challenged and need adults with more sense to shepherd them as much as
possible through their dumb-bunny phase so as to become responsible adults that
will do the same for their kids.
Question #3
Its Christmas time and all your
son wants is a $50 computer toy. You’re on a tight budget, and have already
agreed to “adopt” a needy child and provide him with a toy anonymously for
Christmas. You can’t afford both. You:
A) Buy
your son the $50 toy and find something on sale for the needy child.
B) Buy
something that your son will like for $25, and spend $25 on the needy child.
C) Explain
the situation to your son and hope he offers to change his request.
D) And according to Lulu the Correct Opinion
is - Unless you’re going to leave your son to work in Africa,
buy the $50 toy for your son and explain to him that some people don't have
anything. If $50 is all you can muster don't spend your last Christmas money on
other poor children spend it on your own poor child.
Question #4
While shopping, you can’t help but
notice a young mother trying to discipline her children in the store. Instead
of gently reprimanding them, she slaps them on the head and calls them
“Stupid.” You:
A) Do
nothing. Your involvement may make matter worse.
B) Tell
the mother in no uncertain terms that her behavior borders on abuse, and that
you’d be happy to call the authorities.
C) Try
to talk to the mother and gently suggest other ways in which she could get the
children’s attention.
D) And according to Lulu the Correct Opinion
is - It's a thin line between captain-save a child etc...And (B) which
makes you a well intentioned jerk, not intervening in a situation that needs
help (A) and just generally talking shit to someone that probably doesn't care
what you have to say (C). As Benjamin Franklin said "nothing so
uncommon as common sense". So for civilians (A) and let someone
else’s judgment handle the situation.
